2 Months Race plan

After some great results last year finishing off my season in October with 7th in the Cork County Novice and massive pb in Rathfarmham 5km. I went on honeymoon to vietnam for 2 weeks and took 2 weeks off the gym and running and diet went out the window haha.

November and December have been a struggle with back issues I did a few 5kms and a few cross country races. I have started by up my gym sessions and got back to the diet and feel like i am ready to re-focus and start a good block of training, put a 4 month race plan together. I started off the year with 2 races 3km indoors Nenagh 9:49 and Cloyne 4km in 13:19

There are 3 goals over the next 3 months.

  1. Get my weight back down from 72.4kgs to 70kg ish
  2. Fix my back and consistently finish sessions and races with out any pain.
  3. Break 4:20 for 1500m

Race Plan

  1. Indoor AAI Games 1500m 29th January
  2. Munster Indoor Senior Championships 11th February 1500m
  3. National Senior Indoor Championships - Day 1 February 18th 1500m
  4. World Masters Championships 1500m 31st of March. (Maybe)
